About Ocean Downs



While Ocean Downs has only occasionally offered open races, it still plays host to numerous Maryland Sire Stakes and Maryland Standardbred Race Fund events for two- and three-year-old trotters and pacers. The track has typically offered live racing during the summer dates when Rosecroft is dark and in front of enthusiastic crowds that are accustomed to spending their afternoons at the beaches of nearby Ocean City, five miles east of the track.
