About Pocono Downs



Since opening in 1965 as Pocono Downs, this Pennsylvania five-eighths mile oval has been home to many top horsemen in the Keystone State. Over the years the track has also served as host for the Breeders Crown finals and lately acquired numerous stakes that were once hosted by Harrah’s Philadelphia. It is clearly one of the sport’s fastest five-eighths mile ovals.
