H2W LIST RESULTS
The H2W results list across-the-board prices. Exactas listed include a H2W horse finishing second to a race-favorite or if the first two finishers are H2W horses (an asterisk appears when both horses are listed—a cold exacta). The note “OK” determines that prices are correct (even when a show price exceeds a place price or all prices are the same).
Please note that some results reflect horses racing after the blog posts (they appear the following week).
This week, there were 51 active horses for a 29-percent win hit rate and a 61-percent ATB (across-the-board) hit. Horses with asterisks before their names were tweets @FrankCotolo. Follow for late choices.

NEWS & NOTES
The Delaware Ohio Fair features Ohio-bred trotters and pacers along with stakes for nationally-known division stars that lead to the racing of The Great American Harness Race—The Little Brown Jug. TwinSpires’ Harness Preview blog will present its analysis of the “Jug” in its Sept. 23 edition.
During the week of the meet, which began Sept. 19, TwinSpires Harness includes handicapping / betting spin-off brief articles at TwinSpires Edge for all races it considers worthy of wagers, including betting options for The Jugette (filly pacers) and other featured stakes.
Here’s the latest countdown/comparison for the Little Brown Jug contenders. Our top five follows fair publicity director Jay Wolf’s top five.
1. Perfect Sting / Whichwaytothebeach
2. Whichwaytothebeach / Southwind Gendry
3. Desperate Man / American Courage
4. Lous Pearlman / Perfect Sting
5. I'll Drink To That / Rockyroad Hanover /
Desperate Man was listed as number three before trainer Kathy Cecchin said she's not making the trip to the “Jug” with her North America Cup winner. For horses not paid into the Jug, a win in the North America Cup allows for supplemental entry. Cecchin decided to remain in Ontario.
After more than 50 years in harness racing, Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame’s Keith Clark has retired from on-track participation. He ranks among a list of great horsemen in Alberta having recorded 6,620 driving wins while guiding horses to more than $35.7 million in purses. On the training front, Clark’s horses have tallied 4,302 wins, the second most by a trainer in Canadian harness racing history—with earnings just shy of $29 million. Thirteen times Clark topped $1-million in seasonal driving earnings with another $11-million campaigns as a trainer.
