Race 3
Trainer Englehart wins with 19% of his first-time starters and saddles #10 Reticent (8-1), a debuting son of Wicked Strong, who is a half-brother to two winners. Gelding cost $75K as a yearling and has been working well at Belmont for Englehart, who wins with 28% of his runners overall in maiden claiming events. Chestnut appears ready for a good first outing with Rodriguez in the saddle.
Race 7
Maiden fillies include #10 Bazinga Babe (5-1), who makes her first outing for trainer Kreiser, who has been winning with an impressive 64% of his first-time starters. Filly is by promising young sire Uncle Limo, whose offspring have won 15% of their first outings, and Kreiser has won with three of his 10 runners at this meet. Bay has posted some good works and may win at first asking with Rivera riding.
Mahoning Valley
Race 2
#4 Hoos Taking Charge (8-1) chased fast early fractions before weakening to finish unplaced in her debut over the track and distance two weeks ago. Trainer Shanyfelt won with one of her last six second-time starters, and daughter of Take Charge Indy is a half-sister to two winners. Filly figures to be in front early with Velez remaining aboard.

Remington Park
Race 9
#4 Direct Dial (9-2) makes his first start for trainer Pish off a win from off the pace at Lone Star over 6 1/2 furlongs in July. Gray has a record of 13-4-3-3 at this distance, and Pish wins with 18% of his runners first time for his barn. Son of Too Much Bling has tactical speed and can be in good position from the start under Luzzi, who has won with 21% of his rides for the barn in the past two months.
