Race 6
Trainer Oliver wins with 14% of her runners going from a route to a sprint and saddles #5 Imperial Conflict (9-2), who flattened out after making an early bid for the lead over one mile in his debut here four weeks ago. Son of Will Take Charge cost $170K as a yearling, and Oliver wins with 12% of her second-time starters. Bay can be forwardly placed from the start with Albarado retaining the mount.
Race 11
#11 Fold Em (6-1) debuts for trainer Asmussen, who wins with 18% of his first-time starters. Daughter of Curlin is a full sister to Tenfold, winner of the Jim Dandy (G2), and has been working well for Asmussen, who has won with 20% of his runners at this meet. Filly is likely ready to win at first asking under Santana, who has won with 18% of his rides for the barn in the past two months.

Maidens on grass include #9 Third Draft (6-1), who finished well when third in her debut over 6 furlongs at Belmont last month. Trainer McGaughey wins with 26% of his runners going a route for the first time, and daughter of Curlin is a half-sister to Bold Script, who finished third in the Natalma (G1). Gray can be nearer the front early at this longer distance under Lezcano, who has won with two of his last five rides for the barn.
Del Mar
Race 1
#11 Affianced (12-1) lost chances when stumbling badly at the start in her latest over 5 ½ furlongs at Santa Anita early last month. Trainer Mandella wins with 23% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days, and daughter of More Than Ready is out of All Star Heart, winner of the Las Palmas (G2). Dark bay has been working well since her last outing and can be in the early mix with Drayden Van Dyke.
Race 9
A competitive field for the Matriarch (G1) includes #5 Juliet Foxtrot (4-1), who weakened to finish third after making a bid for the lead in this event 12 months ago. Daughter of Dansili was a touch disappointing in her first three starts this year but showed a return to form when winning the Gallorette (G3) in her latest at Pimlico in early October. Trainer Cox wins with 23% of his runners in graded stakes and with tactical speed, mare can be in good position throughout with Smith in the saddle.
