Filly should find a decent pace to stalk with Talamo in the saddle.

Race 9

Sprinters on turf include #10 Jo Jo Air (8-1), who should get a good trip from off what should be a fast early pace. Daughter of Scat Daddy rallied to win the Daisycutter H. in her latest over 5 furlongs at Del Mar and has a record of 11-4-1-0 on this turf. Dark bay has been working well since her most recent outing and trainer Ward wins with 17% of his runners that won last time out.

Son of Distorted Humor finished second in his debut two back over 7 furlongs on this oval for trainer Stall, who wins with 23% of his maiden claimers. Bay has been gelded since his last start and can be along from off the pace with Hernandez retaining the mount.

Belterra

Race 5

Maidens on turf include #7 Golden Star Rock (3-1), who weakened to finish fifth over 1 1/16 miles after leading early in his debut here in late July. Son of Tapit is a half-brother to Verrazano, who won the Haskell Invitational (G1), and trainer Ward wins with 20% of his second-time starters. Gelding can be forwardly placed throughout under Serpa, who has won with three of his last five rides for the barn.

Indiana Grand
