Race 3

#1 Platinumcents (8-1) makes her first start for trainer De La Cerda and has not been seen since showing little in a maiden special weight event in her debut nearly 19 months ago. Daughter of good young sire Goldencents is a half-sister to one winner and works include a sharp 3-furlong move in :36 from the gate six days ago. De La Cerda wins with 15% of runners that have not raced for 90 days or more and gray could be sent early breaking from the rail under Jaramillo, who has won with four of his last 10 rides for the barn.

Race 4

Trainer Crichton wins with 30% of runners that have not raced for 90 days or more and saddles #4 Special Quality (12-1), who has not been seen since fading to finish unplaced in his debut on the main track in December. Daughter of decent turf sprint sire Exclusive Quality has been working forwardly for Crichton, who has won with 14% of starters at this meet. 3-year-old figures to show more under Vasquez, who has won with 23% of his rides for the barn in the past 60 days.

Race 8

A solid group of 3-year-old fillies going 9-furlongs includes #1 Nope (10-1), who has not raced since finishing a close fourth in the Oh So Sharp (G3) at Newmarket last October. 3-year-old has been working well for her first start for trainer Walsh, who wins with 21% of his runners that have not raced for 90 days or more. Daughter of excellent young European sire No Nay Never appears ready for a good North American debut with Davis riding.

Race 10

Low-level maiden claimer on turf includes two first-time starters who catch the eye. #3 Kobe Fifty Two (12-1) debuts for trainer Zerpa who wins with 29% of his first time starters. Gelded son of 12% grass sire Sky Mesa has been working forwardly and will be ridden by Jaramillo, who has won with two of his last four rides for the barn. Trainer Levy failed to win with her last nine first-time starters but saddles #9 Swinging on a Star (12-1), who is by 13% grass sire Exchange Rate and is a half-brother to one winner on turf. Works include a sharp 4-furlong move in :48 1/5 five days ago and gelding could be a threat here.

Race 4

#7 Etelka (7-2) drops in class off a closing sixth-place finish in her debut over a mile in early December. Trainer Scott has won with 16% of her runners at this meet and daughter of Bodemeister is a half-sister to two winners on grass. Filly will likely show more here with Speith in the saddle.

Race 6

Trainer Barboza has won with two of his four runners at this meet and saddles #10 Gran Old Parr (3-1), who is a debuting son of Kantharos, whose offspring win 17% of their first outings. Gelding has been working forwardly at Gulfstream for Barboza, who wins with 18% of his newcomers. Chestnut may not offer much value, but should win at first asking with Centeno taking the mount.

Race 8

Lasix is added to #8 Jumped Bail (12-1), who has not been seen since fading to finish unplaced on the all-weather surface at Presque Isle in September. 3-year-old has won 1-of-3 career starts and tries regular dirt for the first time for trainer Hamm, who wins with 15% of his runners that have not raced for 90 days or more. Son of good young sire Palace Malice has been working well and can be forwardly placed early with Suarez up.

Oaklawn Park

Race 5

Blinkers come off #4 River Finn (6-1), who faded to finish third after leading early over the track and distance in his latest this month in his first start since early-February. Trainer Cox wins with 28% of his runners second off a layoff and has won with 21% of starters this meet. Son of Pioneerof the Nile may relax on the lead with De la Cruz remaining aboard.

Race 6

With plenty of early speed entered here, closers may hold an edge. #2 She’s a Lucky One (10-1) made late progress through traffic when fifth at this level in her latest last month in her third start after a lengthy break. Trainer Anderson wins with 15% of his runners in claiming events and mare can be along late at decent odds with De la Cruz again in the saddle.

Race 10

#6 Mr. Tip (12-1) was very green when second at Churchill in his latest in November in his first start since his debut in early-September. Recent works include a solid 4-furlong move in :48 six days ago for trainer Sisterson, who won with one of first seven runners this meet. Dark bay has had plenty of time off to mature and should find a solid pace to close into under Cannon, who has won with one of his last three rides for this barn.
