Holland's North American picks for May 26

Race 4

#2 Shiloh’s Phil (6-1) has not been seen since leading from the start to win over 7 furlongs here last August and has a record of 27-8-5-3 on this oval. 8-year-old posted a decent 4-furlong work in :49 4/5 recently for trainer Mustard, who won with one of his last eight runners that had not raced for 90+ days. Mare can be on or near the lead from the start with Chadee riding.

Race 5

Trainer Dickey wins with 10% of his runners that have not raced for 90+ days and saddles #3 Razzlemedazzleme (3-1), who has not raced since weakening to finish third over 7 furlongs at this level in early September. Daughter of Gio Ponti has a record of 6-2-2-1 on this track and has been working well for Dickey, who wins with 16% of his claimers. Filly can be in the early mix with Whitehall in the saddle.

Race 6

Claimers going 5 furlongs include #2 Legendary Larry (3-1), who comes off a weakening sixth-place finish at Fonner Park in his latest last month, from which race the second- and third- place finishers both won next out. Trainer Gourneau wins with 13% of his runners in claiming events and son of Star Guitar has won four of 19 starts at this distance. Chestnut may have a fitness edge over most in here and can be in good early position with Chickeness up.

#5 Knight Disruptor (7-2) rallied from just off the pace to win his latest over 6 furlongs here last month and won his one previous start at this distance. Trainer Martinez wins with 19% of her runners that won last time out and son of Violence has a record of 4-2-1-0 on this track. Gelding can be forwardly placed throughout under Armando Martinez, who has won with 35% of his rides for the barn in the past 60 days.

Race 5

An optional claiming event going 6 furlongs includes #7 Be My Shadow (7-2), who was outfinished late when second over the track and distance in his latest earlier this month. Gelding has a record of 23-7-2-6 on this oval and trainer Johnson wins with 14% of his runners in allowance events. Chestnut can be stalking the early leaders under Olesiak, who has won with 24% of his mounts for Johnson in the last two months.

Race 7

Trainer Anderson has won with 20% of his runners this meet and saddles #2 Lovethatcause (2-1), who has won his last two outings, most recently when drawing off by 4 1/2 lengths over the track and distance last month.
