Holland's North American Racing Plays for Nov. 18

Handicapper Tim Holland has three picks for Indiana Grand on Wednesday, and adds a selection for Parx.

Race 1

#7 Third Time Success (8-1) faded to finish unplaced in her debut after showing early run at this distance in a maiden special weight event early this month. Trainer Aristone has won with two of his last 10 runners making this class drop, and connects with 12% of his second-time starters. Daughter of Uptowncharlybrown figures to be the one to catch with Castillo retaining the mount.

Indiana Grand

Race 6

Trainer Garcia has won with 22% of his runners at this meet and saddles #2 Sacred Kiki Bird (9-2), who faded to finish unplaced after vying for the early lead against better over 6 furlongs two weeks ago. Son of E Z’s Gentleman has won three of his eight starts at this distance and Garcia wins with 16% of his runners in allowance events. Gelding can be in front early under Pedroza, who has won with 31% of his rides for the barn in the past two months.

Race 7

Maidens going 6 furlongs include #9 Thedevilsalgorithm (9-2), a debuting son of 15% first out sire Algorithms and a half-brother to 10 winners. Dark bay has been working forwardly and trainer Langemeier has won with two of his last 14 first-time starters. Gelding is likely ready for a good first outing with Pedroza in the irons.

Race 9

#8 Two Last Words (15-1) was not a factor when unplaced over 6 furlongs in the Brickyard S. in his latest here last month, but has won one of his four starts at this distance. Son of Commissioner has a record of 8-4-1-2 on this oval and trainer Glyshaw has won with 16% of his runners at this meet. 3-year-old can be in good position from the start with Parker taking the mount.
