Hong Kong: Happy Valley Race 8 on April 28

The much-improved #4 Farshad is looking to make it three wins on end in the Breezy Handicap at Happy Valley, but could find trouble matching #5 Helene Wisdom Star.

The seven-year-old Farshad has hit a purple patch in recent times, beating Savaquin and Sunny Star two starts back and then leading all the way to win on March 24.

However, he’s gone up another five points in the ratings and might find it difficult to stop Helene Wisdom Star gaining a well-deserved victory.

Helene Wisdom Star invariably charges home from the back of the field, something which generally doesn’t suit horses at Happy Valley. But he made up a lot of ground to finish second to Telecom Fighters on April 8 and should be able to do so again.

#6 Turin Redstar and #10 Exceptional Nice, third and fourth respectively behind Telecom Fighters and Helene Wisdom Star, should also be in the mix again on Wednesday, while #11 Fast Pace should not be ignored from barrier one.
