Race 7-G1 Secretariat Stakes 1 ¼ Turf

#1 Afandem is the horse I’ll be using on top of my tickets in this race, should get cozy trip and liked the way he handled himself on Friday when “blowing out” with top Million contender Mekhtaal. I’m hoping Dettori gets cover and finds room late.

KEY #1 Afandem in DD’s and P3’s along with exacta bets including #3 Permian.

Race 8-Bruce D. Memorial Stakes

#10 Society Beau is a colt by Curlin out of an A.P. Indy mare so you would figure he gets better with time. That’s exactly what’s happening now as this colt recorded his highest BRIS speed figure last out and finished closely to McCraken 2 races back. McCraken would go on to narrowly miss in the Haskell.

KEY #10 Society Beau on “A” tickets for the DD, P3 and P5 along with trifecta/superfecta bets.

Race 9-G3 American St. Leger

#6 Applicator was given a change in running style last time by rating off the pace and it seemed to work well. He recorded a career-best BRIS speed figure and now adds blinkers to focus finishing punch. Take notice of that work on 8/2 at AP, 6f’s in 1:11 flat is smoking over that surface.

KEY #6 Applicator on “A” tickets for the DD, P3 and P4 along with exacta bets including #1 Keystoneforvictory and #8 Bullards Alley

Race 10-G1 Beverly D. Stakes

The toughest race on the day in my opinion so no need to take a short price. #8 Sarandia is a filly who has touted herself to me and I believe she will run a big race. Her energy and power displayed during gallops suggest a top effort is forthcoming and I certainly don’t mind her cutting back in distance.

KEY #8 Sarandia on exacta/tri/super tickets, bet her WP and use in DD and P3.

Race #11-G1 Arlington Million

Although #13 Mekhtaal and #5 Deauville will be tough to deny, there is value with some of the U.S. based runners in this edition of the Arlington Million. # 7 The Pizza Man has been set-up to peak and run his best race this year. According to BRIS speed figures, his last race was better than anything he ran in all of 2016. He’s cutting back a ¼ mile in distance today after leading late in his prep for today. The other U.S. based horses have traded blows with one another and shown inconsistency throughout the Spring/Summer turf season.

KEY #7 Pizza Man on exacta/tri/super tickets, bet him WP and use in DD.

Race #12-G3 Pucker Up Stakes

Both of #2 Fault’s wins have come on or near the lead. When she is in the race early she can be tough to deny and I’m hoping the connections have that idea breaking from the inside. This was a great claim by Michelle Lovell and I look for this filly to be forwardly placed while getting an extra eighth of a mile to work with.

KEY #2 Fault on exacta/tri/super tickets, bet her WP
