How to bet Arlington Million Day 2017 at Arlington International Racecourse

The Arlington Million headlines a blockbuster 12-race card on Saturday at Arlington International Racecourse. It's one of three Grade 1s that (along with the American St. Leger) make up the International Festival of Racing. The action begins at 1:15 p.m. EDT with the Secretariat Stakes for three-year-olds going 1 1/4 miles on the turf as race 7 and the first of six stakes. The guaranteed wagering pools commence with race 8, the Bruce D at one mile on the Polytrack. It begins the $150,000 Pick 5. There's a $300,000 guaranteed on the Pick 4 that begins with the St. Lever, and a $100,000 Pick 3 that begins with the Beverly D-Million double, and all of the aforementioned sequences conclude with the Pucker Up Stakes for three-year-old fillies on turf.

In addition to the guaranteed pools there are two other Pick 4s that begin on races 1 & 5.

For me, successfully navigating today's card will mean striking the right balance of leaning in the right direction on certain races, specifically #3 Permian in the Secretariat, #10 Society Beau in the Bruce D, and #s 5 & 13 (i.e. the two Euros) in the Million.

For the early Pick 4, we'll play it so that at least one of my single "A" plays in races 2 & 3 wins. In the middle Pick 4 that includes the Secretariat-Bruce D double as its back half, we'll definitely play tickets leaning heavily on the aforementioned Permian and Society Beau.
