The “Hollywood Hi 5” Super High 5 jackpot at Penn National continues to build, reaching $153,279 for Friday’s card.

#1A Gray Lollipops (5-2): Super Belle’s coupled entrymate carved out the pace in a pair of recent maiden special weight sprints at Penn National, leading into the stretch on both occasions before settling for fourth and fifth place. With Brisnet Speed ratings of 66 and 63 to her credit, Gray Lollipops is the fastest filly on paper and the horse to beat for trainer Dimitrios Synnefias, who wins at a 28% rate with horses running for the third time off a layoff.

#2 Here I Come (12-1): Never really factored for a $12,500 claiming tag in her debut two weeks ago, so stepping up in class looks like a tough task.

#3 Spell Gold (4-1): Flashed early speed to finish second in her first two starts for $16,000 and $12,500 claiming tags. However, Spell Gold was soundly beaten on both occasions and comes in with modest Brisnet Speed ratings.

#4 Texas Tudy (8-1): Has yet to challenge in three starts against tougher company at Parx Racing and will have to hope for a big turnaround while dropping in class. Trainer Bruce Kravets takes over conditioning duties, but he strikes at just a 4% rate with horses racing for the first time under his care.

#5 Lucky Day Diva (7-2): Finished second in her debut against maiden special weight company at Penn National, earning a competitive 65 Brisnet Speed rating, but faltered to finish last in her second start under identical conditions. Lucky Day Diva will hope to bounce back while adding blinkers and dropping from maiden special weight to maiden claiming company, a winning move 26% of the time for trainer Michael Salvaggio.

#6 Hold On Lily (6-1): Daughter of Bodemeister debuts for trainer Brandon Kulp, a 24% winner overall but just a 14% winner with first-time starters in maiden claiming races. Hold On Lily has been breezing on and off since last July, but her work tab isn’t especially flashy, making her tough to analyze.

#7 Tak E Lady (10-1): Faltered in a maiden special weight for Pennsylvania-breds earlier this month, but previously finished third for a $25,000 claiming tag over Friday’s track and distance, earning a solid 62 Brisnet Speed rating. Take E Lady is eligible to fire a big shot for trainer William Stites, who strikes at a 21% rate with horses starting for the third time following a layoff.

#8 Blue Rockette (6-1): She’s flashed some speed in the mornings for hot trainer Naoise Agnew, a 38% winner since the beginning of 2020. Sire Air Force Blue and dam Alienation were both Grade 1-caliber sprinters, so Blue Rockette might be some potential.

Conclusions

Gray Lollipops looks tough to beat as the favorite, so we’ll key her on top of our tickets. Underneath, we’ll emphasize Lucky Day Diva, Tak E Lady, and Blue Rockette while hitting the “ALL” button for the final spot.
