How To Bet Saratoga 2017 opening day

Opening day at Saratoga is finally here, and my approach to the 10-race card in Upstate New York is pretty similar to how I approached the 10-race opening day card at Del Mar on Wednesday: I want to hit the Pick 5; I want to hit the Pick 4s, but my best bet on the day isn't in any of those sequences!

The Pick 5 is races 1-5, and the Pick 4s are races 2-5 and 7-10, but my best bet is sadwiched betwixt them all in race 6, a turf sprint for New York-bred allowance types.

#11 Same Kinda Crazy has a win at the course and distance against conditioned claimers. Some issue with the form against this class of allowance types, but she's run well last few out now gets the distance relief, and outside posts are fine sprinting on turf at Saratoga. She's 6-to-1 on the morning line, and the horse I'm most interested in betting to win on the card.
