How to bet the 2023 Beaumont Stakes

#7 Key of Life is 4-for-7 in her career for conditioner Brad Cox and gets the slight nod in the field from the outside draw. The Mo Town three-year-old has been especially impressive in her lifetime on the Keeneland oval, as well, where she owns a pair of victories by a combined 13 lengths, led by a dominant Myrtlewood S. triumph in October.

The $350,000 juvenile purchase comes off a stout, wire-to-wire score on the Oaklawn Park surface most recently and could improve more while making her third run off the shelf. Flavien Prat will have the bay forwardly placed from the break.

Three-time stakes vixen #3 Stonewall Star is the one to catch and beat for trainer Horacio de Paz. The Flatter filly is a classy miss with a bevy of early foot, and she was last seen blitzing her overmatched foes by 11 lengths at Laurel Park. Bred in the Empire State, the bay shows a pair of useful morning drills leading up to Sunday and will be sent from the opening bell with Luis Saez in the stirrups. Her best effort will make her tough to upend on this occasion.

#4 Interpolate lacks some of the credentials of the top pair, but she showed her class when bagging the Ruthless S. at Aqueduct on Feb. 5. Trained by Chad Brown, the $300,000 yearling purchase displayed a fine turn of foot at the seven-furlong distance last time out when registering a 100 Brisnet Late Pace figure, and she has a lot of room for improvement with just four career outings under her belt to this stage of her development. The Into Mischief bay will sit off of a swift early tempo before being asked for her best in the stretch beneath Irad Ortiz Jr.
