How To Bet the Mahoning Valley Pick 4 November 13

If you're looking for a challenging Pick 4 sequence to get the brain working on a Monday, then look no more than Mahoning Valley where the 8-race card concludes with a Pick 4 featuring fields of 11, 11, 12, and 12 for 17,424 possible combinations.

It looks like a challenging sequence on paper, with several double-digit morning line odds horses in the "A" column of my grid, but we'll proceed with caution considering what a formful meeting it's been to date with 49% favorites winning, an overall average win mutuel of only $10.12, and 82% of favorites hitting the board.

The horse we're most willing to lean on is #10 Skylar's a Jiggen in race 7 (leg 3). The 5-to-2 morning line favorite in the field of 12 is the lone "E" type while sporting 8 Quirin Speed Points. "E" types have won 49% of races going 6 furlongs with a same percentage of winners going gate to wire. She should have a tremendous advantage over her elder rivals.
