Claimed for $80,000 in June, the six-year-old has won or placed in each of his four assignments since coming to this outfit, which includes a pair of stakes wins. The versatile son of Kitten’s Joy makes his second start since the short layoff and has the right running style to be a major player in the event from off the pace, in a cast where many of the leading contenders prefer to be in the hunt from the opening bell. Price Talk will have go-to pilot Florent Geroux in the silks.

#4 English Tavern (9-2) was a stakes runner-up in his local bow last time out and has a lot of top-three appeal for conditioner Michelle Lovell. The six-year-old son of English Channel is a stakes winner who possesses a nice turn of foot, and the chestnut also sports a nifty 6-3-1-1 mark at the 1 1/16-mile distance. The Kentucky-bred will make his third appearance since arriving in this barn and will have Deshawn Parker in the irons on Saturday.
