Anneau d’Or: The Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) runner-up shortened up significantly for his most recent workout. One week after clocking a mile in 1:40.60, Anneau d’Or worked 3 furlongs from the Golden Gate fields starting gate in :36.80 on Saturday.
Attachment Rate: Gotham (G3) third-place finisher posted a 5-furlong work on Saturday at Gulfstream Park, going the distance in 1:02.33 one week ahead of an expected start in the Unbridled S.
Azul Coast: The El Camino Real Derby winner sped 5 furlongs in a bullet 1:00.00 on Friday at Santa Anita. He’s nominated to the Arkansas Derby (G1), though it’s unclear yet whether he’ll join stablemates Charlatan and Nadal at Oaklawn Park.
Basin: Over a muddy track at Oaklawn on Monday, the Rebel (G2) third-place finisher worked 5 furlongs in 1:00.80.
By Your Side: Sanford (G3) winner turned in his second workout of the year on Tuesday, clocking 3 furlongs in an easy :38.45 at Palm Meadows.
Candy Tycoon: Fountain of Youth (G2) runner-up breezed a half-mile in :49.64 on Friday at Palm Beach Downs.
Charlatan: Worked a stiff 6 furlongs on Wednesday at Santa Anita, going the distance in a bullet 1:12.20.
Eight Rings: Aiming for a return to action in Saturday’s Bachelor S. at Oaklawn Park, Eight Rings traveled to Arkansas and blazed 5 furlongs in a bullet :59.00 on Friday.
Express Train: Fourth in the American Pharoah (G1) last fall, Express Train turned in his first workout of the year on Monday, clocking three furlongs in :39.20 at Santa Anita.
Finnick the Fierce: Recent Oaklawn allowance winner clocked 4 furlongs in :49.00 on Friday at The Thoroughbred Center.
Field Pass: On Monday at Turfway Park, the Jeff Ruby Steaks (G3) winner worked 5 furlongs in 1:02.20.
Gouverneur Morris: Aiming for the Arkansas Derby, Gouverneur Morris breezed 5 furlongs in 1:01.21 on Saturday at Palm Beach Downs.
Green Light Go: Cruised through 5 furlongs in 1:01.80 at Palm Meadows on Wednesday.
Honor A. P.: San Felipe (G2) runner-up clocked an easy half-mile in :50.20 on Thursday at Santa Anita.
King Guillermo: Tampa Bay Derby (G2) winner fired off 6 furlongs in 1:13.71 on Wednesday at Gulfstream Park, likely his penultimate move before contesting the Arkansas Derby.
Maxfield: Continued along the comeback trail by clocking 4 furlongs in :48.40 on Friday at Keeneland.

Nadal: Aiming for a start in the Arkansas Derby, the Rebel winner blazed 5 furlongs in a bullet :59.80 on Wednesday at Santa Anita. He turned in another fast workout on Monday, going 6 furlongs in 1:11.80.
Shoplifted: Joined stablemate Basin on the Monday work tab at Oaklawn, breezing 5 furlongs in 1:00.80 over a muddy track.
Silver Prospector: With an eye toward competing in the Arkansas Derby, Silver Prospector flew through 5 furlongs in a bullet :59.00 on Saturday at Oaklawn.
Storm the Court: The reigning champion 2-year-old worked a sharp 5 furlongs on Wednesday at Santa Anita, getting the distance in 1:00.60. He followed up with 6 furlongs in 1:13.60 on Monday with an eye toward competing in the Arkansas Derby.
Tiz the Law: Florida Derby (G1) winner clocked 5 furlongs in 1:00.65 on Saturday at Palm Meadows.
Untitled: The Gotham runner-up is entered in a mile allowance/optional claiming race on Thursday at Gulfstream. With this target in mind, Untitled breezed an easy half-mile in :50.30 on Thursday at Palm Meadows.
Wells Bayou: On Sunday at Oaklawn, the Louisiana Derby (G2) winner worked 5 furlongs in 1:00.40, likely his penultimate move before the Arkansas Derby.
Looking Ahead to the Kentucky Derby
A massive total of 99 horses has been nominated to the May 2 Arkansas Derby (G1) at Oaklawn Park, which will offer Kentucky Derby qualification points to the top four finishers on a 100-40-20-10 basis. So many horses are under consideration for the 1 1/8-mile race that it might be run in two divisions, so stay tuned for further developments.
