Pro: Made all in two-turn romp after a pair of dull tries sprinting.
Con: Like several others, will need to step up his game exiting maiden ranks.

Pro: Distant second best in seven-furlong Bob Hope (G3) but won over a mile two back.
Con: Has twice prompted a fast pace and wouldn’t want to get into a duel here.

Con: Lacks stakes experience that several others in the field have.

Pro: Better than Breeders’ Cup try suggests, given runner-up finish in American Pharoah (G1).
Con: Likely short odds the main drawback, as he figures to be less than 5-1 for the first time.
