#1 Big Much                                ***

Pro: Turned in upset win first out; extra distance shouldn’t be an issue.

Con: Concedes relative experience, and pace not expected to be as fast.


 


 

#2 Bracket Buster                    *

Pro: Son of hot sire Vekoma relished the stretch-out at Keeneland to graduate.

Con: Made little impact first couple of outings; 33-1 win was a shocker.

#3 Baby Boat                              **

Pro: Ran out of competition at Hawthorne when dominating two races.

Con: Jumps into a much deeper pool and has yet to race beyond 5 1/2 furlongs.

#4 Sandman                               ***

Pro: Saratoga grad eligible to bounce back from Iroquois (G3) flop when taking some money.

Con: Off a bit slow last time and can’t afford to concede as much ground here either.

#5 Tiztastic                                   ***

Pro: Landed two lucrative races at Kentucky Downs in the span of nine days.

Con: Bred to handle dirt fine but has excelled on grass so far.

#6 Reach for the Rose          *

Pro: Lone previous try on dirt resulted in a cozy, 5 1/2-length maiden win. 

Con: Shaky current form in recent turf stakes; needs to quicken.

#7 Dapper Moon                      ****

Pro: Big maiden win at Saratoga but chased hot pace and faded in Breeders’ Futurity (G1).

Con: Class relief welcome, though potentially more effective around one turn.


 


 

Comes A Time wins at Belmont at the Big A.

#8 Comes a Time                    ****

Pro: Produced mild upset at Aqueduct on debut for dangerous Cox barn.

Con: Remains with sufficient upside but could be overbet based on connections.

#9 Forged Steel                         **

Pro: Threw in towel early in Kentucky Downs Juvenile Mile and likely better than that.

Con: Another who has shown to be better on turf so far.

Pro: Fourth in key maiden on debut and improved well second out.

Con: Enters as the only maiden in the field and unlikely to offer much value.
