Fonner Park
Race 1
Trainer Anderson wins with 12% of his first-time starters and saddles #3 Pit Fire (8-1), a debuting son of 16% first-out sire Cougar Cat. Dark bay is a half-brother to two winners and trainer Anderson has won with 19% of his runners this meet. Works include a sharp 4-furlong move in :47 3/5 from the gate last month and colt appears ready for a good first outing.
Race 2
Early speed is dangerous on this tight oval, and #1 G G Holiday (7-2) figures to be in front early, breaking from the rail. 4-year-old has finished second in all three of his starts on this track and trainer Johnson wins with 14% of his sprinters. Filly may be tough to catch with Fackler remaining aboard.

Will Rogers Downs
Race 4
Newcomer #7 Froggy (6-1) has a good win early pedigree being by 16% first-out sire Euroears and is a half-brother to two winners. Dark bay posted a solid 4-furlong work in :49 2/5 from the gate here nine days ago for trainer Sneed who won with one of his last two first-time starters. Gelding appears live with Landeros up.
Race 6
Blinkers are added to #6 Pulpit Pie (12-1), who has not been seen since showing little in his debut over a mile in a maiden special weight event here nearly a year ago. Son of Oratory is a half-brother to two winners and posted a good 4-furlong work in :48 late last month for trainer Williams who wins with 15% of runners that have not raced for 90 days or more. Chestnut can be tough at this level under Medina, who has won with one of last 12 rides for this barn.
Race 7
#1 Hollywood Square (5-2) drops in class for his first start on this track off a weakening fourth-place finish after dueling for the early lead at Turf Paradise in late February. Trainer Diodoro wins with 27% of his claimers and son of Square Eddie has a record of 4-2-0-1 at this distance. Gelding can be forwardly placed early breaking from the rail with Eikleberry aboard.
Race 9
Likely favorite for this stakes is #5 Nero (2-1), who makes his first start on this oval for trainer Asmussen. 5-year-old was second in the San Vicente (G2) earlier in his career before joining Asmussen who wins with 21% of his runners in sprint races. Son of Pioneerof the Nile can be in good position throughout under Luzzi, who has won with two of last four rides for this stable.
Race 10
Trainer Compton wins with 15% of his runners in claiming events and saddles #10 Big Guy Ian (5-1), who weakened to finish second after setting pressured early fractions in his latest as the favorite at this level last month. Compton wins with 29% of his runners that were beaten as the favorite last time out and gelding has enough early speed to overcome this wide post.
