Palm Beach All Star Award Feature Race

Happy 4^th of July America! The first big race of the new season happens today in Race 10 with the Rooneys Ale All-Star Award Feature, with some of the biggest stars at Palm Beach putting it on the line to see who is the best.

Here is a look at each racer and what the odds I think they will have when its Post Time:

#1 Jiosa Jo ~ Douglas Kennel (10-1 Odds)

Is a 77% board hitter since coming over to Palm Beach from Naples, but is sitting in a tough spot on the inside with Timeless & Hustle both diving towards the rail. Will need to be somewhere near the front early to have any chance here.

#2 PJ Timeless ~ Rader Racing (5-1 Odds)

The most experienced racer of this crew, with over 100+ starts at this Track since starting here in January of 2013. Has heated up lately with two straight wins and could pull an upset with a decent break today.

#3 Hustle It Up ~ Janie Carroll Kennel (3-1 Odds)

Is just starting to race into shape after coming back from a two month vacation. 25 wins was second to KB’s Like A Fox last season at Palm Beach and could find the rail early on here and take the lead. Is she ready to compete with a field like this?

#4 JS ToHotToHandle ~ Koppe, Staats & Collins (2-1 Odds)

“Sizzle” looks absolutely fabulous on and off the track. One of the best lid flippers at the Club and will need the lead here most likely to take this Title. The 20 time winner is sitting in a great spot mid track and should be battling with Atascocita Clo early on for the advantage.

#5 NB’s KissGoodbye ~ Royal Racing (7-1 Odds)

The best chance for an upset in my opinion. 7 wins already in his young career but drew a bad spot with the two blazers in Sizzle and Clo right next door.

#6 Atascocita Clo ~ Suncoast Racing (2-1 Odds)

The Puppy Stakes champion has started to put it all together in the last few weeks. Always had the great rushing ability, but now has been very tough to catch on the lead. Will be out in front here today without a doubt going for her 4^th straight win.

#7 BS Reser   ~ Agganis Kennel (9-1 Odds)

Probably doesn’t win this Race, but if you are playing any Exotic plays, be aware that Reser has hit the ticket in 11 straight starts. One of the only closers in the entire field.

#8 RacingCane Jam ~ B & B Racing (6-1 Odds)

The newest hot shot rookie for trainer “Top Cat” Tony Calvo has been a pleasant surprise at Palm Beach, already posting multiple Grade A wins last month. Really prefers the inside boxes and probably finds a tough time finding room with all the early speed in this race.

Prediction

This looks like whoever has the lead early is going to win this thing. From what I’ve seen, #6 Atascocita Clo has the best chance of getting out in front here and looks to be on a mission this season. I think Clo will go this afternoon.
