Palm Beach Superstar Saturday Preview 6/25/2016

June 24th, 2016

Welcome to the last Saturday Matinee of the 2015-2016 racing season!  Many superstars have put it all on the line throughout the racing campaign and this card will be no different.  The action should be tremendous all afternoon long leading up to the finale 15th which could decide the Track Championship.

Here are the top races we will be following for Superstar Saturday at "The Beach!"

Race 4 Grade TA 301 Yards

Fans who haven't been following the super sprint athletes since legend Kb's Like A Fox retired will be able to witness the next big thing this afternoon.  #3 Wiki Ray Donovan from the Douglas Kennel has simply been on fire on the SSP Course the last two months, scorching three straight W's and being able to dominate from any box he fires from.  Same should happen today.

The 1 hole is by far the most beneficial box to break from, so putting #1 Tb's In Motion is a must on any exotic plays.

Donovan gets season win #16.

Picks 3-1-6-4

Race 12 Grade A 545 Yards

Somebody sure likes the month of June.

Se's Cool Kate from 11 time Track Champion Rader Racing noticed the calendar change and immediately started winning, to the tune of four wins this month.  Loves the outside with that solid midtrack game and can also show a solid close at go time.

Watch out for the "Mac Attack" #5 Blu Too Tarmac who will be going for his very impressive 20th season victory here.  Little off his game the last two races but is a bonafide young star at Palm Beach and can run against any field he is in.

Kate's as cool as a cucumber and continues her hot streak.

Picks 8-5-4-2

Race 14 Grade A 545 Yards

"Kid Dynamite" has had one fabulous rookie campaign.

#8 Superior Tyson from top Kennel B & B Racing with the $50,000 St Pats Invitational Title under his belt added another blanket to his collection by winning the Fathers Day All Star Feature last weekend.  Arguably the best sprinter Palm Beach has seen this season, Tyson has an outside chance of snaring a piece of the Track Championship if he wins two starts before June 30th.

Tyson will be going for three wins in a row here and draws the 8 box, which last time out of he sizzled a 29.45 comfortable victory on May 21st.

Picks 8-6-3-1

Race 15 Grade TA 660 Yards

This is one of the biggest races of the season without question.

With Track Championship dreams on the line, Derby Champ #3 Ethel Is Here from the Janie Carroll Kennel goes head to head with #2 Atascocita Camry from Suncoast Racing.  Both have 27 wins on the year and this may be the race that decides who wins the coveted championship for their teams.

It's real simple...if Ethel or Camry wins this race, they grab at least a share of the championship.  With the season ending this Thursday, we will have to wait and see if either of these superstars gets a start before then.  With no tie breaker currently for this chase, multiple greyhounds could conceivably grab a piece of history.

Ethel has put together a season for the ages, breaking track records and bringing home stakes titles.  A championship here would really be the icing on the cake.

Camry is a multi-stakes finalist and will be trying to win Suncoast's first Track Championship since Atascocita Henri brought home gold back in 2012.

Camry looks to have the advantage with her dynamic break and tough on the lead racing style.  Ethel will have to run her down to find the winners circle here.

Look out for #1 Go Bon Kickstart from the Royal Racing Team who will try and play the spoiler.  Has won or placed in five of her last 6 starts.

I don't think I have ever picked against Ethel this entire season, but Camry looks to be in better form at the best time.  The V6 power of Camry wins a thriller here.

Picks 2-3-1-5

Top Pick - Race 4 #3 Wiki Ray Donovan

Enjoy all of the action race fans!
