Palm Beach Superstar Saturday Preview 6/6/2015

No better way to get ready for the Belmont Stakes then to watch many of the best greyhounds in the country battle in today’s Matinee at Palm Beach. Ten Grade A classics await fans and players this afternoon, including the #1 racer here Pat C Short Cut in the finale 15^th. Should be fantastic races all day long.

Here are the top races I will be following for Superstar Saturday at “The Beach.”

Race 2 Grade A 545 Yards

SM Houndman

#2 SM Houndman from the ABS Racing Team loves the inside posts more than any other greyhound at this track. Has won the last two times from this box and is very difficult to run down if he’s on the lead.

Kb’s Gold Rider

#3 Kb’s Gold Rider (pictured) from Rader Racing has the most talent of any of this field but has been like a box of chocolates the last two months….you really don’t know what you’re going to get. You could get a dazzling performance like he had in the Rooney’s Cup, or he misses the ticket completely.

Watch out for #8 Superior Jamaica from B & B Racing, who has a 60% win rate from the 8 hole.

Race 12 Grade A 545 Yards

#6 O Ya Raspberry from the Janie Carroll Team is a must watch today. In her three wins since transferring from Hollywood, her splits have been faster than everybody but Pat C Short Cut, including last time out when she ripped a 29.33 secs eight length win.

Race 14 Grade TA 660 Yards

Paid Vacation

The action turns to the Pat C Rendezvous Middle Distance Course, which features newly Top 10 Ranked #2 Paid Vacation from Ryan Racing. The 5 time winner in May can pop the lid better than anybody at this distance currently and should be a heavy favorite this afternoon.

Keep your eye on supreme closers #4 Pat C Pownzer, who was able to finish off Paid Vacation last time out.

#1 O Ya Garrett from the Janie Carroll Kennel is a must put on any exotic plays, as he draws the most favorable box and has hit the ticket in all 5 starts since coming from Hollywood.

Paid Vacation is the best play and should get back to the winner’s circle this afternoon.

Pat C Short Cut

Race 15 Grade A 545 Yards

No other sprinter has looked more impressive in 2015 than #8 Pat C Short Cut from the Koppe, Staats & Collins Team. Has dazzled from the outside hole, including his season best 29.12 secs scorching win on 3/19. One of the most dynamic closers we have seen from any racer at Palm Beach this year.

A good price could come on a win/place/show play on #1 CRT Team Thunder. The top sprinter from the Champions Racing Team has finished in the Quinela in all 6 of his starts since coming home from Southland Park.
