Del Mar 6 | 7:30 pm ET Osunitas for 3yo&up F&M going 1-1/16 mi (T)

The Del Mar meet so far has been about spend and inside posts so in the restricted Osunitas we will tab PREMIER STEPS for the upset. The Irish-bred drops out of the Grade 1 Gamely and should appreciate the drop in class. Drayden Van Dyke can save ground early and run them down late. YAHILWA switches to the turf after six straight dirt starts in the U.S., but she ran four times on the turf in England to start her career and she may be inside speed. Two starts back she was second, beaten a neck, in the Grade 3 Adoration on the Santa Anita main track. DANCINGTOTHESTARS was an impressive winner of the Fran's Valentine in April then came back last month to split the field in the Grade 2 Royal Heroine. She has tactical speed, can finish and will improve in her second start off the layoff. BEATRICE is a new face to Southern California for trainer John Sadler and Hronis Racing. The four-year-old filly was bred in England, last ran in Turkey, started her career in France and had five runs in Germany.
