Special two-day summer racing at Tampa Bay Downs on Monday and Tuesday and today we look at race five where the Frank Calabrese owned HOLY SMOKE is the 2-1 morning line favorite. While HOLY SMOKE will be tough, we will try to beat her with BACK FOR DINNER from the Owen McQuade barn. HOLY SMOKE is likely to be on or near the pace and there should be pretty quick early fractions with a couple of stretch out sprinters in the field. BACK FOR DINNER is a closer and will be running late, the only caveat, aside from a filly running against the boys, is she has one win in 12 starts over the course. RASTA FRIEND has not been on the turf since August 2013, but he is bred for it and could be one to bet on if overlooked on the board. RASTA FRIEND is one of the aforementioned stretch-out sprinters and will try to take them wire to wire. This race starts the late pick-4 wager and is the second leg of the pick-5.
