Champion Fierceness rates as the 5-2 morning-line favorite in post 17, while 3-1 second choice Sierra Leone drew inside in post 2.
Note that there are a couple of also-eligibles who hope for a defection or two to make it into the gate at Churchill Downs, No. 21 Epic Ride and No. 22 Mugatu.
