2022 Preakness Stakes Live TV Coverage
Fans are back in full force to attend the 2022 Preakness, and the Preakness Stakes is back as the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown this year, a large TV audience is expected.
In another change for 2022, the 98th Black-Eyed Susan, first run in 1916 as the Pimlico Oaks, will be held on it's traditional day of one day prior to the Preakness Stakes. Traditionally, this race for the nation's top 3-year-old fillies would be run on the (Friday) day before the Preakness. This year's live TV coverage from Pimlico will also be offered online at NBC Sports and via the NBC Sports App, available on iOS and Android.
What Time is the 2022 Preakness Stakes?
NBC is scheduled to begin their programming for the 2022 Preakness Day slate of racing at 4:30pm EST on Saturday, May 21st. Post time for the Preakness is expected to be at approximately 5:45pm EST.
