Race Five:

1st: #3 DAME OF MALTA – returned off a 20-month layoff on the turf at Delaware Park and showed good pace to the final yards. That was with first-time Lasix, and she tries Tapeta for Arnaud Delacour, who wins 15% of second starts off the layoff.

2nd: #5 SPRING MAGIC – tries Tapeta off a series of decent turf races at four different tracks. Brendan Walsh is one of the sport's most underrated trainers, and he brings the daughter of American Pharoah to Presque Isle and gets leading rider Pablo Morales.

Race Six:

Race Seven:

1st: #6 CROWLEY’S WAR – ran poorly going two turns here two races in a row but woke up with a good second going six furlongs. He romped last out in very fast time and now stretches back out to two turns for Glenn Wismer, who wins 19% short to long.

2nd: #4 DECEIVER – was no match for the top choice last out then was third two back in his Tapeta debut. His prior starts were either dirt or turf, and at least they came against better company. Walber Alencar rides — 23% with his route mounts.

3rd: #10 NIP OF BOURBON – his last effort kind of came out of nowhere but if he can repeat it, he could get a piece of this.
