Queen's Plate Kickoff: Friday Woodbine ABC Grid

Woodbine already kicked off Queen's Plate week with its Canada Day card on Wednesday, but now it's officially Queen's Plate weekend with Friday's 9-race card at the Toronto-area oval.

It's hard not to look ahead to Sunday's blockbuster day of racing at Woodbine, but there are plenty of wagering opportunities between now and then, and I'll do my best not only to find them but also to capitalize on them!

The TwinSpires.com Players' Pool will be in action each day this weekend. Michael "The Champ" Beychok and I will "save" the bulk of our bankroll for the Queen's Plate card including the classic race itself and its 16-horse field, but we'll dabble a bit the next two days and try to catch lightening in one of the multi-race wagers and/or in the Jackpot Super High 5.
