Round 2 of the 2015 Southland Razorback Classic Stakes is in the books
The 2015 SOUTHLAND RAZORBACK CLASSIC STAKES 2nd Round ran Thursday and the talented greyhounds sure did put on a show.
While there were a few surprises in Round 2, the theme of the twilight session was favorites as nine of the 12 stakes races were won by either the betting or second best favorite. Six times the betting favorite won and three times the second choice got the win. You could say the cream is rising to the top but there are still 2 rounds to go before the finals are set and the competition remains tough as ever.
Round 3 is on Wednesday, May 13 and Round 4 is on Monday, May 18. The Finals will be run on Monday, May 25 so please keep those dates in mind. I have listed the winners below from Thursday's stake action and have also listed MONEYMAKER MIKE'S 8 selections to make the finals which were made on May 3 and their results from the previous two rounds. It was a very good evening overall for the picks as 5 of them won their races although the other 3 selections had a rough time and each one finished 7th.
