SOUTHLAND - 2015 SPRING FUTURITY STAKES
Round 4 of the 2015 SOUTHLAND $20,000 SPRING FUTURITY STAKES is now in the books after Saturday evening's race card and it's on to the finals on Friday, May 1st. The competition has been extremely fierce and there is sure to be more fireworks in the finals next weekend. Listed below are the 8 greyhounds that I had selected to make the finals and their results from Saturday evening's Round 4 races. As you can tell, of MoneyMaker Mike's 8 selections to make the finals there were 2 greyhounds to win, 2 greyhounds to finished 2nd, 2 greyhounds to finished 3rd, 1 greyhound to finished 4th and 1 greyhound to finished 6th. As you also may have noticed, even though 5 of these greyhounds ran in the same race the overall results were very good for the picks. The only drawback for me is that my overall pick to win the stakes contest (SOVEREIGN ISLAND) finished 6th in Round 4. Best of luck to the selections and good luck to everyone with any future wagers.
