SOUTHLAND 3rd Round Razorback Stakes

Wednesday's twilight session at Southland was highlighted by the six races of the 3rd Round of the SOUTHLAND 2015 $40,000 RAZORBACK CLASSIC Stakes championship and while there were a few surprises, the favorites for the most part ran very strong.

Round 4 is scheduled for Monday, May 18 and the Finals are set for Monday, May 25. I have listed below the winners of the six races as well as MoneyMaker Mike's selections to make the finals which were picked back on May 3. There are still 7 of my 8 original picks in the hunt and I've listed how they have finished in the three previous rounds.

All races are Grade SAA races and all are run over the 660 yard distance course.

Overall a good showing by MoneyMaker Mike's picks to make the finals as we had 3 winners, a second and a third place finisher to go along with a 6th and 7th place effort out of the seven selections. My pick to win it all from the start has been COUNSELOR and he will be looking for his 3rd straight win in Round 4 on May 18.

 

This is the Preakness weekend so I'll give my pick to get the win - Dortmund
