SOUTHLAND Preview - June 20
The Saturday evening card at SOUTHLAND features 3 races in which several greyhounds will be trying hard to keep their winning streaks going as they battle paw to paw from start to finish. Several of you have asked for some different angles to look at during the month of June so MONEYMAKER MIKE will showcase some of the greyhounds who are on winning streaks of two or more. Race 4 - 660 yards - Grade B - box 6 - BACKWOOD CAMERON - She's won two races in a row and is looking to make it 3 straight distance wins here. She has good early speed to go along with her mostly mid track running style and will need to have a good break here as the competition will be a lot tougher then she's faced in her past two wins.
Race 7 - 660 yards - Grade C - box 3 - BOC'S VERRUCKT - He's going for 3 straight wins having won both a M and D grade race in his last two starts, both from the one box. He has a mid to wide running style but he's been going to the front right out of the box so if he can clear early here he will have a good shot at winning again.
Race 16 - 660 yards - Grade A - box 3 - LK'S FEASTIVAL - Another distance race and another greyhound going for 3 straight wins. She's been running hard as of late as evidenced by her 3 wins in her last 4 races. Tons of early speed to go along with a big late kick give her a darn good chance to keep her winning streak going.
