SOUTHLAND Preview - Thursday, June 11
Thursday's twilight card at SOUTHLAND features 3 races in which several greyhounds will be trying hard to keep their winning streaks going as they battle paw to paw from start to finish. Several of you have asked for some different angles to look at during the month of June so MONEYMAKER MIKE will showcase some of the greyhounds who are on winning streaks of two or more. Race 10 - Grade AA - 583 yards - MEGA VAST is going for his 3rd straight win and will be starting from the 6 box. This rail runner has tones of early speed and once he gets the lead, very hard to run down. Even though there is a lot of early speed in this race he is still capable of going box to wire for the win.
Race 16 - Grade B - 583 yards - AMF VIRGINIASLIM is also trying to make it 3 straight wins and will start from the 7 box after winning two straight races from the three box. He does have some early speed as well as a nice late move and does have a mid-track running style so look for him to give a solid effort here.
Race 18 - Grade AA - 660 yards - BOC'S ROWLAND has won 2 straight races and will start from the 6 box in his quest to make it 3 in a row. He has a wide running style and with decent early speed to go along with a strong move down the stretch, definitely capable of getting it done here.
