Southland Preview: Wednesday Twilight, June 24

The Wednesday twilight card at Southland features 2 races in which greyhounds will be trying hard to keep their winning streaks going as they battle paw to paw from start to finish. Several of you have asked for some different angles to look at during the month of June so I will showcase some of the greyhounds who are on winning streaks of two or more. It will be interesting to watch and see just how long some of these winning streaks will last. Race 8, Grade B - 583 yards

(#5) HANK OF RUCKUS (Morning Line 5-1)

He is going for his 3rd straight win today and with his good early speed and mid to wide running style, is posted well to get it. In his last two wins, he's gone box to wire and even though the competition is tougher here, I look for him to be out fast once again so keep him in mind with your plays.

She's going for 4 in a row and has drawn the rail where she likes to run. Tons of early speed for her inside running style and despite facing her toughest field in several months, she's posted well with a decent shot to keep the winning streak going.
