Here are few horses of interests on the August 20 program.

Race 4 -- Maiden Special Weight

Debut runner #10 MISS HANNA JO (4-1) has a few things going for her, not the least of which is having leading trainer Chad Brown in her corner. That will suppress the price to a degree, but her qualifications would be solid regardless. By More Than Ready, she's out of Whenthedoveflies, a multiple turf sprint stakes winner who beat the boys on occasion. Miss Hanna Jo is also a half-sister to Yes I'm Lucky, who won on debut as well as three of his first four starts, including the Laurel Futurity and Tyro on turf.

Race 6 -- $35,000 N3L Claiming

#10 MIKO (9-2) caught wet turf earlier in the meet and backed out late after some interference in upper stretch. Removes blinkers and fits well on prior form. Also like the fact she was a course-and-distance winner last summer against starter allowance foes.

Race 8 -- $100,000 Evan Shipman

Outrun as an odds-on favorite against several of these downstate in his belated season debut, expect #3 TWISTED TOM (3-1) to bounce back here for Brown and with Castellano back in the saddle. Romping winner last year of the Albany over this track and distance, he repeated impressively in the division's premier event, the Empire Classic.
