A few best bets...
Gary Smith: Besides the straight money using my top pick, #12 Main Sequence, I will also make a nice exacta box using #4 Brown Panther. In turn, I will use both horses in the first and second spots in trifecta and superfecta wheels using ALL others in the race underneath.
D. S. Williamson: Rich Tapestry in the BC Sprint. The Hong Kong runner nosed out Goldencents for first place in the Santa Anita Sprint Championship. What’s important to note about that race is that Olivier Doleuze took Rich Tapestry to the inside of Goldencents and still managed to nose that one out for the victory. It was a brilliant race by an absolutely brilliant horse. How good is Rich Tapestry? The horse finished second by .75 lengths in the Grade 1 Dubai Golden Shaheen, earning a 119 Racing Post Rating. The horse is also 3 for 3 over the dirt and has pulled home $1,449,553 in earnings. The BC Sprint is the type of race that Rich Tapestry is used to winning. Horseplayers might get odds as well since Secret Circle, the defending champ, could see a lot of money flow his way. Not only that, but Palace, arguably the best sprinter from the East Coast, has his fans as does Private Zone who was absolutely brilliant in the Grade 1 Vosburgh Invitational in his last. I’m going to bet on Rich Tapestry to win. I’m also using the horse in all of my exotic wagers as well as the key horse on my main ticket for the Breeders Cup Late Pick 4.
MoneyMaker Mike: Tonalist in the Breeder Cup's Classic. I like him to run down the leaders and make a strong case for winning the 2014 Eclipse award. With California Chrome and Shared Belief garnering the majority of the attention, as well they should I might add, Tonalist may end up bringing home not only the winner's trophy but a very nice price as well. I will have him on top of both Chrome and Belief along with Bayern as solid exacta plays, I will also play the superfecta with Tonalist first and second with those 3 horses while throwing in Zivo and Cigar Street on the 3rd and 4th lines. MoneyMaker's Mike BEST LONGSHOT of the weekend is FEATHERED in the Juvenile Fillies race on Friday. She is 3 out of 3 in the money and though she ran 3rd in the mud in her last race, it was a Grade 1 stakes contest so she bodes well for a big effort here in my opinion. Thanks for reading and good luck with your wagers.
