The number of Arkansas Derby (G1) divisions that will be contested at Oaklawn Park on Saturday.
As the only Road to the Kentucky Derby prep race left on the schedule, the 1 1/8-mile event proved popular at the entry box and attracted 22 entries, which prompted Oaklawn to split the race into two divisions, with 11 runners apiece.

The number of horses trainer Steve Asmussen has entered in the Arkansas Derby. Hopeful (G1) winner Basin will be joined by Clever Trevor S. winner Jungle Runner in the first division, while Southwest (G3) winner Silver Prospector and recent allowance victor Code Runner will represent Asmussen in the second division.

The number of victories recorded by the Charlatan (2-for-2) and Nadal (3-for-3), who loom as formidable Arkansas Derby favorites for trainer Bob Baffert.
Charlatan is the even-money choice in the first division, while Nadal is the 5-2 favorite in the second, which gives Baffert a strong chance to sweep.

The number of Arkansas Derby victories recorded by trainer Todd Pletcher, who most recently reached the winner’s circle with Magnum Moon in 2018. Pletcher will be represented by two talented colts Saturday — Florida Derby (G1) fourth-place finisher Gouverneur Morris, who runs in the first division, and Oaklawn S. runner-up Farmington Road, who competes in the second.

The number of Road to the Kentucky Derby qualification points that will be awarded to each Arkansas Derby winner. A total of 170 points will be available in each division, divided on a 100-40-20-10 basis among the top four finishers.
