Pegasus World Cup Filly and Mare Turf Contenders
#1 ARTIE’S PRINCESS (20-1): Has only run on the lawn on one previous occasion and looks to be up against it for trainer Saffie Joseph. The We Miss Artie six-year-old has obvious ability but is hard to endorse in this field. Jose Ortiz has the controls.
#2 DALIKA (5-2): Reached new heights in 2022 for conditioner Al Stall and will look to add to her fine resume in this affair. The seven-year-old has won three of her last four and the Grade 1 heroine will add pace to the field as the potential one to catch turning for home against this crew. Regular rider Brian Hernandez, Jr will be up.
#3 WAKANAKA (5-1): Impressed on multiple occasions since arriving on U. S. soil in 2022 and looms a big chance with her top effort. The Bill Mott trainee was sixth in the contest last season but faces a more realistic task on Saturday from off the pace in a field with ample speed signed on. Joel Rosario retains the mount atop the daughter of Power.

#4 SWEET ENOUGH (20-1): Crushed allowance foes on the course last time out and rises up in class in the affair for Roger Attfield. The Lope de Vega five-year-old is still lightly raced with room for improvement, and she could rally into a minor award late with continued progression on Saturday. Junior Alvarado will be up.
#6 QUEEN GODDESS (9-2): Brought more than $1.5 million in November and rewarded her new connections with a fine score in the Robert J. Frankel S. (G3) at Santa Anita last time out. Mike McCarthy's Grade 1 queen has speed, form, and class, and seems like a nice fit for this turf course. Luis Saez will guide the win contender.
#7 LADY ROCKSTAR (6-1): Had a nice prep for this encounter when runner-up in the Suwanee River (G3) on the surface last time out. The daughter of Frankel has flashed considerable potential since arriving in the states and looks like a logical exotics contender with some improvement off her latest showing beneath Tyler Gaffalione.
#8 JUSTIFY MY LOVE (30-1): Got up late to defeat allowance foes at Churchill Downs in her most recent try for Antonio Lobo. The Agnes Gold six-year-old has back class as a Group 2 winner, but she will need a lifetime-best showing to make the frame in this difficult spot with Javier Castellano riding.
#9 SHANTISARA (9-5): Has finished first or second in each of her tries on U.S. soil to this point for conditioner Chad Brown. The Grade 1 heroine makes just her second try since April, and she has been training well for a potent layoff outfit. The top pick will receive a perfect trip just off of the early pace with Irad Ortiz in the silks.
