#1 ENDURING SPIRITSon of promising young sire Tiz the Law has not been in good form with three unplaced efforts in succession and will make his first offering for trainer Jose Jimenez. The bay colt looks to be in a tough spot for his route debut under Sofia Vives.

#2 MANSETTIKevin Attard trainee bagged the Clarendon S. in his most recent outing and is the inside speed of the event. The $40,000 juvenile purchase is a wildcard on the dirt, but he has obvious ability and could be a danger late if he takes to the surface transition beneath Sahin Civaci.

#3 ICANFirst of two in the field for Richard Dutrow tuned up for his stakes debut with an allowance second on the oval,  and at the trip, most recently. The son of Preservationist has improved with each career run to date and will be in the mix late with continued ascension on Saturday. Manny Franco inherits the mount.

#4 OMAHA OMAHAImproving son of Audible comes in with two tallies in succession led by a fine allowance romp at Laurel Park in his latest performance. The Michael Gorham pupil has elevated his Brisnet Speed figure in each career try to date, and he has exotics appeal with regular rider Raul Mena up.

#5 GEORGIA MAGICRay Handal trainee is a wildcard in the cast coming off just a single appearance to date, albeit a wire-to-wire, six-furlong win on the oval on November 29. The $230,000 son of Good Magic didn’t fly home in that sprint score, but he has plenty of room for improvement and can’t be discounted in a field lacking a standout. Romero Maragh will take the reins.

#6 CYCLONE STATEBay son of smart young sire McKinzie comes in with a pair of open-length victories in succession for conditioner Chad Summers. The bay colt has big early speed and is a proven commodity on the course, as well as the distance. Luis Rivera, Jr. will pilot the major win threat in his stakes debut.

#7 STUDLYDORIGHTTwo-time stakes winner is the one to beat in the race for trainer John Robb. The Nyquist colt, who won the Nashua S. on the strip two prior, comes off a solid run when fourth in the Remsen S. (G2) and will appreciate the cutback in distance on Saturday. Xavier Perez will ride the Maryland-bred.

#8 MCAFEEHalf-brother to the sublime Thorpedo Anna drew off to a sprint win at first asking prior to rallying to be a close second in a one-mile tilt beneath the Twin Spires last time out. The Cloud Computing colt will face better in his stakes bow, but the Kentucky-bred is moving in the right direction and will be dangerous late if the pace backs up in the stretch. Jose Gomez has the call.
