Tiz the Law favored in final 2020 Kentucky Derby Future Wager
Tiz the Law, the early favorite for Saturday's Travers (G1) at Saratoga following wins in the Belmont S. (G1) and Florida Derby (G1), is the concurrent early favorite for this week's seventh and final 2020 Kentucky Derby Future Wager (KDFW).
The Kentucky Derby Future Wager features $2 Win and Exacta wagering, and provides fans with opportunities to place bets on possible entrants in the Kentucky Derby at odds that could be far greater than those available on the day of the race.
Bets for the KDFW can be placed on TwinSpires.com. There are no refunds in the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. Should Churchill Downs officials determine during the duration of the three-day pool that one of the wagering interests has experienced an injury, illness or other circumstance that would prevent the horse from participating in the Kentucky Derby, betting on the individual horse will be suspended immediately.
Co-second choices at 6-1 on the KDFW morning line are Santa Anita Derby (G1) winner Honor A.P., Blue Grass (G2) victor Art Collector, and Los Alamitos Derby (G3) winner Uncle Chuck, who is scheduled to face Tiz the Law in the Travers.
In addition to the Travers, Derby qualifying points will also be on the line in Sunday's $200,000 Ellis Park Derby, a race that will reportedly be run after wagering on the KDFW closes. Art Collector headlines that feature.
Wagering opens at noon on Friday and closes Sunday at 6 p.m. (both times Eastern).
