Trainer Wesley Ward sent out two of his Royal Ascot winners, Acapulco and Undrafted, for workouts at Keeneland on Wednesday.
Acapulco, a two-year-old daughter of Scat Daddy who blitzed her rivals in the Queen Mary (G2), worked five furlongs on the firm turf in 1:02.
"She's doing really good," said Ward, who also told Keeneland publicity that she would return to England August 14 for a scheduled appearance in the August 21 Nunthorpe (G1) at York.
One of the most prestigious sprints on the English calendar, the Nunthorpe is contested at five furlongs and is open to two-year-olds and up.
Undrafted, who posted a mild upset in the six-furlong Diamond Jubilee (G1) on the final day of the Royal meeting, completed five furlongs on the fast main track in 1:04.
"We just wanted to go easy," Ward. "He had a real easy, cruising-time work."
Co-owned by NFL star Wes Welker, Undrafted might return for the $300,000 Kentucky Downs Turf Dash over 6 1/2 furlongs.
