Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival - Emirates Stakes Day
The four-day Melbourne Cup carnival concludes Friday, November 9 on TwinSpires with Emirates Stakes Day and there is some ultra-competitive racing on tap to round out the festival.
The racing highlights on the card are the Group 1 Emirates Stakes featuring early favorite, and Chris Waller trained, Boban and the Group 1 VRC Sprint Classic. The VRC Classic features the "Brisbane Bulldog' Buffering and Hong Kong star Lucky Nince as they look to continue their rivalry. The two finished one-two in the Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley last start.
Australian Racing gets started with the Emirates Stakes Day card as Australia A - Flemington on Friday, post time is 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT. The 7th and featured Emirates Stakes is set to go to post at approximately 11:45pm ET/8:45pm PT.
