TwinSpires.com $1M Guaranteed Derby Day Pick 6

Churchill Downs and TwinSpires.com have partnered for the fourth consecutive year to guarantee the Pick 6 pools on Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby days. The Kentucky Oaks Day Pick 6 will carry a $250,000 guaranteed pool and the Kentucky Derby Day Pick 6 will feature a $1 million guarantee.

The wagers are officially named to be the “TwinSpires.com $250,000 Guaranteed Oaks Day Pick 6” and “TwinSpires.com $1,000,000 Guaranteed Derby Day Pick 6.”

The Pick 6, is a $2 minimum wager.

Friday's TwinSpires.com $250,000 Guaranteed Oaks Day Pick 6 will be on races 6-11 and will start at approximately 1:26 p.m. Eastern Time.

Saturday's TwinSpires.com $1,000,000 Guaranteed Derby Day Pick 6 will be on races 6-11 and will start at approximately 1:19 p.m. Eastern Time.

Rules and Restrictions:

• The TwinSpires.com $250,000 Oaks Day Pick 6 is only guaranteed if there is one or more winning 6 of 6 tickets.  If there is less than $250,000 wagered into the TwinSpires.com $250,000 Oaks Day Pick 6 and there are no correct winning 6 of 6 tickets, the carryover will reflect the actual amount wagered into the pool irrespective of the guarantee.
   
• The TwinSpires.com $1,000,000 Derby Day Pick 6 is only guaranteed if there is one or more winning 6 of 6 tickets.  If there is less than $1,000,000 wagered into the TwinSpires.com $1,000,000 Derby Day Pick 6 and there are no correct winning 6 of 6 tickets, the carryover will reflect the actual amount wagered into the pool irrespective of the guarantee.
   
• TwinSpires.com and Churchill Downs reserve the right to cancel the guarantee on both the Oaks and/or Derby Day Pick 6 pools if the total number of starters in all the legs of the Pick-6 sequence is less than 42 at the time the Pick-6 pool closes.
   
• TwinSpires.com reserves the right to cancel the guarantee on both the Oaks and Derby Day Pick 6 pools if any type of weather, power, or technology issue prevents simulcast outlets representing more than 20% of the Kentucky Derby Day off-track wagering in 2014 from being able to wager on the Pick 6.
