BRISNET'S TOP CHOICES TO DEFEAT WISE DAN

9th KEE 1m (Turf) Grade I 3yo and up, Purse: $1,000,000. ( 5:45)/ 4:45/ 3:45/ 2:45

8 - Seek Again (7/2)   Chestnut was last seen when skimming the rail to win after being badly blocked in the stretch in the one mile Fourstardave Handicap at Saratoga in August and narrowly missed beating Wise Dan over nine furlongs earlier in the year in the Turf Classic at Churchill in May. Colt may be best at this distance being by excellent mile turf sire Speightstown and is trained by Bill Mott who wins with 19% of his runners that have not raced for 46-90 days. Four-year-old is fresh having just raced three times this year and can be a major threat to the top selection running from off the pace with Joel Rosario retaining the mount. 5

5 - Kaigun
(10/1)   Son of Northern Afleet finished well to narrowly miss winning the Woodbine Mile in his latest in an unlucky effort and closed strongly to finish within a length of Wise Dan when second over the course and distance in the Makers Mark Mile here in April. Gelding is trained by Mark Casse who wins with 13% of his runners in graded stakes and with 14% on turf and four-year-old can be a contender for a share running from off the pace with Patrick Husbands here to ride.

2 - Optimizer (12/1)   Son of 16% grass sire English Channel became the third runner in this field to just fail to beat Wise Dan this year when beaten a nose by the top selection when running late at Saratoga in his latest in late August. Five-year-old has won five of his nineteen lifetime starts and will make his second start since joining the barn of Jose Fernandez. Bay can be a threat for a share closing late with Alan Garcia retaining the mount.
