The Elite Eight out of the Sweet 16 at Bluffs Run on Wednesday, March 27th

Eight greyhounds won their matches on Saturday and will compete in 4 match races on Wednesday to determine the winner.

American Derby Final Leg 1 at Mardi Gras on Friday, March 29th

Leg 2, with the same field, will be contested on April 2nd. A match race will be run if no greyhound wins both legs of the stakes.

Any one of these dogs could win this one, but I think #1 Smokey Joe will win with #2 HL's Dale right behind him. I expect #8 Fuzzy's Old Fox to be rounding out the trifecta.

Orange Park's James P Patton Silver Cup Round 1 on Friday Evening March 29th

Lots of well-known runners in these races, but some newcomers too, sure to put on an exciting show as they race in the first leg of this stakes that will wind up on April 13th.

One of the dogs to watch in this round is SNJ Black Porter, who just ran in the American Greyhound Derby. Another derby entrant, GS Grace, should be a contender at her favorite distance again. Keep an eye on Kiowa Jill Vik and Warped and don't be surprised to see them at the wire ahead of the pack. There's a lot of talent here, and they'll all be back in the second round on Monday, April 1st. Don't miss a minute of this exciting stakes event at Orange Park.

Hound Madness Continues at Southland on Saturday, March 30th

The 5th round of the Hound Madness Stakes will go off on Saturday, March 30th. The championship round will be held on April 5th. Quite a few surprises last time and a few close finishes. Expect some very competitive races this time.
